BOB FISCELLA

Biography

    Bob Fiscella is an anchor for CNN/Sports Illustrated. Fiscella has anchored sports for both Headline News and CNN International. He joined CNN in 1986. In 1998, Fiscella hosted CNN's PRO GOLF WEEKLY. From 1991 to 1996, he hosted SportSouth's weekly live half-hour Southern college football recruiting series, "Countdown to Signing Day." He also hosted the network's Atlanta Braves pre-game program, "The Braves Report," during the 1992 to 1996 baseball seasons.

    Before joining CNN Sports, Fiscella served as sports director at KRBE-Radio and as sports anchor at KPRC-Radio, both in Houston. He served as an anchor for TBS Superstation.

    Fiscella graduated in 1982 from the University of Texas in Austin with a degree in journalism.
