| Summary
He is a young man that has a lot of NFL coaches and scouts very intrigued after leading Nebraska to a portion of the 1997 National Championship as a QB. Many are projecting him to be a DS in the NFL because of his AA. He has natural skills and developed as a great runner on the college level, as a QB, and shows good COD and adjust in the open field and has excellent run vision and body control. He played DS in the Hula Bowl and did not look out of place in practice and in the game. He posted solid numbers at the combine, with a 34 1/2" VJ and and excellent 4060 40 time while running the SS in 3.79, which indicates outstanding quickness and COD and the ability to bend. He does not have much of a future as an NFL QB. He has not been in a pro-style offense and he does not have an NFL type arm and is primarily a running QB. Although he can play a variety of positions, he will likely get a long look at DS and he may really flourish there. He has excellent intangibles and he has played a lot of football on a high level of competition, and he is a great competitor. He could easily become a special teams warrior and an emergency QB, while learning the DS position. There is too much AA and up side to ignore and although it will not be as a QB, he may be drafted much higher than many people think.
