Michael Matz

A three-time Olympic rider, Matz, 45, was chosen by a vote of U.S. team captains to carry the American flag at the closing ceremonies. Matz, who has been riding at the international level since 1973, won a silver in the show jumping team event and finishes his competition today in individual jumping.
