A "space which looks to the 21st century," the futurist theme park of Futuroscope was first opened in 1987. With the help of its giant screen and special effects festival the park is a virtual science fiction mecca. Its formula--to teach through its spectacular attractions--has been a complete success, and its attendance has grown since it first opened.
