"Turquoise under the spring sky, sapphire under the summer azure and topaz in autumn ", the smallest commune to receive the Tour de France is typically Correzien with its picturesque semi-roman semi-gothic church and the beautiful Meyrignac pond.
An important district in the region, Madame Bernadette Chirac heads the council (conseiller général).
