From TNT's postgame coverage Posted: Sunday April 23, 2000 01:59 AM
The reigning NBA champion doesn't lose its first playoff game very often, but TNT's Kenny Smith has seen it happen. He was part of that 1995 Houston Rockets team that managed to repeat. Here's what the current TNT analyst had to say about the Suns' upset win over the Spurs: "Scott Skiles is a very lucky man. He's got a five-year deal, and he had two guys he wasn't sure what he was going to get from come in and play big: Kevin Johnson and Cliff Robinson." Johnson led the Suns in assists, with six, while Robinson contributed 17 points (tying Penny Hardaway for the team lead).
