Short-handed Pistons swept out of playoffs
Once Grant Hill was lost for the season, Detroit's chances didn't look good. The Pistons fulfilled that prophecy on Saturday, losing to the Heat 91-72 in the Palace at Auburn Hills and sending Miami to a second-round berth. The Heat will meet the winner of the New York-Toronto series.
