LONDON (AP) -Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez's late header salvaged a 3-3 draw at Chelsea on Sunday that still left the champions two points behind leader Manchester City.

The visitors were trailing 3-0 by the 51st minute after defenders Jonny Evans and Rio Ferdinand both turned the ball into their own goal and Juan Mata volleyed home for Chelsea.

But the game swung back in United's favor after two penalties were conceded and Wayne Rooney scored twice from the spot before Hernandez's 84th-minute leveler.

Chelsea remains fourth in the Premier League's last Champions League qualification spot.
